Planning the move
Every escort is planned in advance. We ask what is being moved, its approximate value and size, the start and destination points, timing and who will be present at each end. From that we decide whether the escort travels in a following vehicle, rides with the goods, or both, and whether officers should be armed.
Timing and route details are kept to the smallest possible group of people, and plans may be varied for regular movements so they do not become predictable. We will not publish or discuss how specific escorts are run.
On the day
Officers meet the goods or person at the agreed time, check that what is being moved matches the job details, and stay with it for the journey. On arrival they see the handover through to the person authorised to receive it and confirm completion with you.
If anything unexpected happens on the way, such as a breakdown, roadblock or suspicious vehicle, officers follow the contingency plan agreed beforehand and keep you informed.
Once-off and regular escorts
Some clients need a single escort for a special delivery or event. Others move stock, samples or equipment every week. For regular movements we can agree a standing arrangement with rotating timings. Escorts are also often combined with event security when valuables go to exhibitions or functions, and with close protection when the person carrying them is at risk.
Insurance and the agreement
Your goods should be insured for transit by your own insurer; an escort reduces risk but does not replace cover. Ask us for details of our own insurance arrangements when you request a quote. Each escort, or each standing arrangement, is confirmed in writing with the scope, timings and handover procedure.

Do you transport cash?
No. Cash-in-transit is a specialised service with its own licensing and armoured vehicles, and we do not offer it. We escort valuable goods, equipment, documents and people.
Can you escort goods outside Gauteng?
Our service is based in Johannesburg and focused on Gauteng. Longer routes can be discussed on enquiry, and whether we can take them on is confirmed after we have looked at the details.
How much notice do you need for an escort?
As much as possible, because planning matters. Short-notice requests are sometimes possible depending on availability. For regular escorts, we set up a standing arrangement so bookings are simpler.
Are my goods insured while you escort them?
